UPDATE
Events and donor recognition for friends of Texas Heart Institute.
You can make a diiference.

The actual scientific proof of William James' wisdom expressed above is discovered daily here at the Texas Heart Institute, which relies heavily on the many supporters who put their hearts into making a difference. And the difference they make? It starts with the simple fact that we couldn't continue to do what we do without them.

There are many heartfelt gifts of time, talent and financial generosity. Some are large. Others small. Some are grand. Many are meek. They are not only enabling, they are inspiring. Each and every one. For that, we are occasionally surprised … often humbled … ever grateful.

The Texas Heart Institute honors all donor requests for anonymity and confidentiality. However, when appropriate, we want to recognize those who act as if what they do makes a difference for, indeed, it does.

Here are some of those faces of support, those remarkable difference-makers.

Donor Recognition
For our financial donors, we acknowledge their range of giving in our publications. Any other information provided to us by donors is held in the strictest confidence and will never be shared with any other organization. Other recognition opportunities available vary with the type and size of gift. For example, sponsorship of special events often offers opportunities for recognition in program materials and media coverage. Naming opportunities are available for endowments and for the construction of facilities. A gift or pledge of at least $25,000 ensures a permanent association of the donor's name in a prominent location in the Denton A. Cooley Building.
